Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Truvidex service (the “Service”), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (company number [COMPANY NUMBER]) (“Truvidex”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, placing an order, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms. Prices are displayed in US dollars and may exclude applicable taxes, which are calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout.

3. Description of the Service

Truvidex is a software-as-a-service tool for automated research verification of text documents. It extracts factual claims from documents you upload, retrieves publicly available primary sources (regulatory archives, scientific literature, declassified records, and similar), and produces evidence dossiers with citations, highlighted source pages, and QR codes.

Disclaimer. The Service generates an evidence base from open primary sources. It does not replace licensed legal advice, professional fact-checking, or editorial review, and Truvidex does not act as an insurance underwriter, broker, or clearance agency. You remain solely responsible for the content you publish and for verifying its accuracy before publication.

4. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and organization seats.
  • Free trial accounts are limited to one per person and per device; we may refuse or suspend accounts created to circumvent this limit.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

5. Plans, claims and billing

  • Paid plans include a claim allowance for the billing period. One claim credit is consumed per verified claim processed. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
  • On active monthly and annual subscriptions, unused claims roll over for up to 90 days, capped at 1.5× your period allowance. Rollover credits may expire as described in the pricing documentation.
  • One-time passes remain available until their claim allowance is exhausted; generated dossiers and exports remain accessible.
  • We may change prices or plan composition for future billing periods with prior notice.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload unlawful content or content you do not have the right to process;
  • attempt to bypass claim accounting, rate limits, or access controls;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our consent;
  • use the Service to build a competing dataset or to train public machine learning models;
  • interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service.

7. Your content and intellectual property

You retain all rights to the documents and materials you upload. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train public AI models. The Service, including its software, design, and generated report templates, is owned by Truvidex and protected by applicable law.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that third-party sources are complete, current, or error-free, nor that a dossier will satisfy any particular legal, insurance, or broadcast requirement. Links to third-party sources are provided for verification purposes only.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truvidex shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel your subscription through the billing settings or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, fraud, or abuse. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.
